Furness Building Society


In November 2015, Furness Building Society needed to reinvent itself to fully deliver on their brand proposition ‘Always with your interest at heart.’

A building society since 1865, with nine branches across Cumbria and the North West, Furness Building Society had a loyal customer base, but wanted to extend its reach and be more inviting to new customers, whilst delivering a true brand experience for people on the high street.

We worked with Furness to provide a transparent, welcoming and modern approach to its 'customer first' strategy. 


We worked with Furness Building Society to provide a customer-centric brand refresh to spearhead the refits for customers.

An opportunity arose to consolidate two Barrow branches into one flagship branch within the head office location. An open and accessible floor space, digital screens and iPad stations became a focal point for branch activity. These enabled the building society to update product information in real time across the nine branches, deliver bespoke messages at individual branches and provide walk-in customers with instant access to information.


Working in collaboration with our client and their partners, we delivered and project managed the interior design, fit out, signage and branding implementation for the flagship launch.
